The Job People are hiring for an Head of Sales Manager on behalf of a Staffordshire based manufacturing leader. You'll take ownership of identifying, engaging, and winning new clients across several specialist markets, including:

  • Medical Scanning
  • Nuclear Shielding
  • X‑Ray Shielding
  • Aerospace
  • Automotive
  • Motorsport

Alongside new business development, you'll also play a key role in uncovering growth opportunities within an established client base, ensuring long‑term partnerships and increased revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities of a Head of Sales Manager
  • Proactively identify and secure new clients, predominantly in UK and European markets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs within highly technical and regulated sectors.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to shape commercial strategy and support long‑term business goals.
  • Expand revenue within existing accounts by identifying new applications, product lines, or service opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • Head of Sales experience, ideally within technical, engineering, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach with the confidence to open doors and close deals.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as required.
