Personal Assistant - Morecambe Area : Job ref LILS/LM/EL
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a personal assistant to provide
support to a sociable knitting enthusiast, enabling her to attend social
events and accompanying her to appointments.
The lady is a wheelchair user so a driving license is essential to take her to
activities and appointments. There is access to a mobility car and the PA
will be added onto the insurance. A hoist and loading equipment are
available for loading wheelchair into the car and full training will be given in
using the equipment.
The lady has a well behaved assistance dog in training so the PA must be
comfortable around Labradors and may on occasion be needed to walk the
dog.
The role will involve light domestic duties including laundry,
shopping and food preparation.
Whilst personal care isn’t a natural part of this job it will be needed very
occasionally.
This is a part time position for 4 hours per week. Hours and days are
variable and can be worked flexibly by mutual agreement.
Rate of pay is £13.45 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a
workplace pension scheme.
