Job Title: Support Manager – Supported Living Services
Location: Harrogate, HG5
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time
About the Role:
We are a well-established charity providing high-quality supported living services for adults with complex needs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to lead our team in Harrogate, supporting 10 individuals across our services.
As the Support Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a staff team, and ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred care. You will work closely with individuals, families, and external stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of support staff
Oversee the wellbeing, safety, and development of 10 service users
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and charity policies
Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and performance monitoring
Maintain and review support plans, risk assessments, and welfare checks
Promote independence and positive outcomes for service users
Liaise with families, health professionals, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred)
Proven experience in managing supported living or similar services
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and welfare checks
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Full driving licence essential
