Lead a Growing Supported Living Service

We’re recruiting a passionate and experienced Support Manager to lead a supported living service in Harrogate, supporting 10 adults to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.

This is a key leadership role within a values-driven charity, ideal for someone who combines strong care knowledge with confident team leadership.

About the Role

As Support Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, and compliance of the service. You’ll lead a staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that enables individuals to achieve greater independence and live fulfilling lives.

You will be responsible for:

Leading, motivating, and developing a team of support staff

Ensuring person-centred care and support is delivered consistently

Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and outcome reviews

Managing rotas, staffing, and staff performance

Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards

Promoting independence, community access, and life skills for the people supported

Building positive relationships with families, professionals, and commissioners

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a confident leader with a strong background in adult social care.

Essential:

Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care

Previous leadership or senior care experience (Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, etc.)

Experience in supported living, learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs

Solid understanding of safeguarding and person-centred approaches

Full UK driving licence – must be a driver

Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills

Desirable:

Experience with CQC inspections and compliance

Experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern or complex needs
