Role
We are looking for a personal care assistant to our client who is an 11-year-old boy who has autism, ADD and a learning disability.
You will be supporting our client to enjoy his time outside of school. This might be going to McDonalds, going to the park, having a walk or supporting him around the house. Somebody who can suggest other activities would be beneficial.
Our client is non-verbal but can get his point across once you get to know him. Our client also has PICA and has very little sense of danger so being observant and having a good level of fitness is essential for this role to ensure the safety of our client.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this is essential
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
