Location: Christchurch

Hourly Rate: £12.43 per hour

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week - flexible working patterns including split shifts, days, evenings and weekends

About the Role of Passenger Assistance Agent:

As a Passenger Assistance Agent, you'll play a vital part in ensuring every passenger enjoys a safe, smooth and positive airport experience. You'll be on the frontline, providing compassionate and professional support to passengers who require additional assistance.

Your responsibilities as a Passenger Assistance Agent:

    • Supporting passengers with special assistance needs, including reduced mobility, hidden disabilities, illness, age-related challenges, or other conditions.
    • Escorting passengers from arrival points (car parks, forecourts, taxi ranks and bus stops) through to their aircraft seat and supporting them on arrival.
    • Acting as the main point of contact for assisted passengers, delivering a friendly, respectful and reassuring service throughout their journey.
    • Guiding passengers through Customs and Immigration when required.
    • Operating specialist equipment and airline systems following full training.
    • Ensuring all assistance is delivered safely, compliantly and with dignity at all times.
    • Completing required documentation and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.
    • Assisting with aircraft cleaning and supporting wider operational tasks when needed.

    What we're looking for from the Passenger Assistance Agent:

      • Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
      • Fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
      • Comfortable following set procedures while remaining adaptable and solution-focused.
      • Happy working outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required.
      • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
      • Self-motivated, reliable and confident working independently.

      Important Information:

      Employment is subject to a satisfactory DBS and Security Check, along with five years of checkable employment or educational references, all of which must be completed prior to your start date.
