We are looking for a professional, confident Ward Manager (RMN) who can lead, inspire & oversee the delivery of the very best care on Nova Ward. You'll be working 40 hours a week (9am 5pm) Monday to Friday at Cygnet Elowen Hospital Nova Ward is our 12 bedded service which is a highly specialised eating disorder service, supporting individuals with a low BMI. We focus on supporting individuals to restore their weight to a healthy BMI, whilst providing them with the psychological support and skills to continue their recovery journey at home. Cygnet Elowen Hospital, our new hospital for adults located in Derbyshire, exemplifies our commitment to excellence in health care. This new service offers a safe and secure care pathway tailored for individuals with eating disorders, as well as those with complex personality disorders with disordered eating. With a dedicated team of specialists and a compassionate approach, Cygnet Elowen Hospital is designed to provide specialist support and treatment, fostering a positive recovery pathway in a nurturing environment. **You must have experience of managing a Eating disorders ward ** Your day-to-day Provide suggestions, proposals & recommendations to the Clinical Manager aimed at the continued development of the ward Co ntribute & participate in planned visits to the ward by professional visitors Initiate & maintain a monitoring system in relation to professional nursing practice at unit level, including pin numbers & the current registration of all qualified staff Ensure that the evaluation of service delivery is user (i.e. patient, carer & family) based Advise non-clinical staff within the hospital on management of patients with mental illness Ensure patients rights to confidentiality are respected & that Cygnet Health Care & professional policies are adhered to.You are Committed to delivering improvement strategies across all aspects of clinical service provision Familiar with an in-patient setting Experienced in managing change, leadership initiatives, motivating & developing others Open, compassionate, honest & resilient Capable of undertaking audits, developing, following-up & ensuring completion of action plans Well-informed of the Mental Health Act & the latest nursing practices Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk.Why Cygnet?
