The Role
The People Admin and Systems Manager is responsible for leading the People Administration and Systems teams, ensuring the delivery of efficient, compliant, and customer-focused HR services. This role plays a key part in driving system optimisation, process improvement, and digital transformation across the HR function, while supporting the development and performance of the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will lead, motivate, and manage the People Admin and Systems teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. This includes coaching team members, supporting professional development, setting clear performance objectives, and monitoring progress against agreed goals.
You will evaluate, enhance, and optimise HR systems and processes to improve efficiency, functionality, and user experience. This includes implementing best practice in system use and data management, identifying opportunities for automation, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the team and wider organisation.
The role will oversee HR-related projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timescales, and budgets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing regular progress updates and reports to senior stakeholders.
A strong focus on business analysis and reporting is ess. You will conduct detailed analysis to identify improvement opportunities, develop and maintain robust reporting frameworks, track KPIs and metrics, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
You will act as the subject matter expert for People XD, using in-depth system knowledge to optimise HR processes, support stakeholders, and guide the team. Staying up to date with system developments and updates will be a key part of the role. You will also ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and organisational standards.
