About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Care Home Manager / Residential Home Manager to lead a high-quality elderly residential care home on the Isle of Wight. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Elderly Care Home Manager with a strong background in health and social care management to take full operational responsibility for a residential service supporting older people.
Applicants must currently be based on the Isle of Wight.
Key Responsibilities
Full day-to-day management of an elderly residential care home
Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, care standards and best practice
Leading, motivating and developing care, nursing and support teams
Delivering high-quality, person-centred elderly care
Managing staffing levels, budgets, occupancy and performance
Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and quality assurance standards are met
Acting as the Registered Manager (or willingness to register with CQC)
About You
Proven experience as a Care Home Manager, Residential Home Manager or Registered Manager
Background in elderly care within the health and social care sector
Strong working knowledge of CQC frameworks and inspections
Confident leader with excellent communication and people management skills
Passionate about improving the lives of older people in residential care
Must be based on the Isle of Wight (this is essential)
