Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Curry/Tandoor Chef to lead our kitchen in preparing authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary excellence, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality, authentic Nepalese and Indian curry dishes.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff.
- Plan and delegate kitchen tasks to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with bar and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service.
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and place weekly supplier orders.
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards in the kitchen.
-Create and deliver special dishes for events or functions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen
-Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
-Ability to work flexible hours
Essential:
-Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Ability to commute/relocate:
-Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
