Your new role
As a Research Physician II, you will lead and support clinical research projects, acting as Principal or Co‑Investigator once trained. You'll conduct clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, ICH/GCP standards and local regulations, ensuring accurate medical oversight throughout. Responsibilities include evaluating and screening participants, reviewing eligibility, managing adverse event reporting, and maintaining high‑quality documentation and patient data. You'll work closely with participants, clinical teams, sponsors and external partners while actively contributing to process improvements and maintaining readiness for GMC appraisals.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Full GMC registration with an unrestricted licence to practise
  • Strong grounding in internal medicine with at least two years of post‑qualification clinical experience
  • Ideally, previous exposure to clinical research
  • Working knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail when recording patient information and responding to data queries
  • A collaborative, supportive mindset with the ability to provide guidance to colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both patients and internal teams
