Brief description:
Support students across the curriculum with additional needs, helping them engage positively in learning while promoting independence, confidence and consistent routines within a nurturing environment.

About the school:
A diverse mainstream secondary setting offering structured support for learners with additional needs. Staff work collaboratively to ensure all students make strong progress within a safe and inclusive environment.

About the role:
You will support students with ASD and ADHD, helping them access learning, regulate emotions and develop positive engagement. Role requires an understanding of the Helicopter approach and consistent behaviour guidance.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Provide tailored support across subjects
- Assist with emotional regulation strategies
- Promote independence and routine
- Build positive, supportive relationships
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams

Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience supporting ASD and ADHD
- Knowledge of the Helicopter approach
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow support plans
- A calm, patient and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
