We are seeking an experienced and committed Deputy Children’s Home Manager to join our children’s residential home in Bromyard. This role is ideal for a senior residential childcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
The RoleAs Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to support the effective day-to-day operation of the home. You will help create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, while ensuring care is delivered in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Support the Registered Manager in the overall management of the home

Lead, supervise, and motivate the residential care team

Act as a role model and provide consistent, child-centred care

Ensure safeguarding procedures and care plans are followed effectively

Contribute to positive Ofsted inspections and continuous improvement

Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager
Requirements-
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 Leadership and Management

Experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
