We are currently recruiting for a CNC Bandsaw Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company in Bilston, producing high-end wooden products for the home. This is a great opportunity to work with quality materials in a clean, professional environment where craftsmanship matters.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating CNC bandsaw machinery to cut and prepare timber components used in premium home products. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a good understanding of wood are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CNC bandsaw machines safely and efficiently

  
  

• Cutting a range of wood types to precise measurements

  
  

• Reading and working from job sheets and production drawings

  
  

• Selecting the correct materials for each job

  
  

• Carrying out quality checks on finished components

  
  

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

  
  What We’re Looking For

  • Experience operating CNC bandsaws or similar woodworking machinery

    
    

  • Good knowledge of different wood types and their properties

    
    

  • Understanding of woodworking processes and safe machine use

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

    
    

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
