Summary

Chelmsford City Council are seeking an enthusiastic CCTV Operator to join our team in our security control centre who ideally has previous security experience, although full training will be given. The successful applicant must possess good interpersonal and communication skills and should be able to maintain concentration for long periods of time. Good visual awareness is also necessary together with the ability to remain calm whilst under pressure.


A full, clean driving licence is essential and you must be confident dealing with stray dogs, a service the control room operates out of hours. You will be required to hold a SIA Licence in CCTV and an SIA licence in security due to out of hours Anti-Social Behaviour patrols.


The successful applicant will be required to work unsocial hours including night work.
