We are working with a reputable primary school located in Newport, Gwent, who is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced full-time Primary Teacher after February half term. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a diverse group of primary-aged students, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

As a Primary Teacher at he school, you will be expected to plan and deliver a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the National Curriculum for Wales and the school's educational objectives. This will involve creating detailed lesson plans, selecting appropriate teaching resources, and implementing a range of instructional strategies to cater to the diverse learning needs of your students.

Effective classroom management and the ability to maintain a well-disciplined and nurturing environment are essential for this role. You will be responsible for monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing appropriate interventions to support the academic and personal development of each child in your care.

Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be required to liaise with parents, guardians, and other education professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting student growth and achievement. You will also be expected to participate in staff meetings, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest pedagogical practices.

The successful candidate for this position will possess a teaching qualification with QTS, and have a proven track record of successful teaching experience in a primary school setting. Familiarity with the National Curriculum for Wales, as well as a deep understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies, are highly desirable.

Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a teaching qualification with QTS
- Have a minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the National Curriculum for Wales and effective teaching methodologies.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Be proficient in the use of technology and digital resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Exhibit a passion for working with primary-aged children and a commitment to their academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Be willing to participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in primary education.
- Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
- Competitive daily rate ranging from £173.00 to £212.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
