The Governing Body of Bishop Childs Church in Wales Primary School is seeking to appoint a kind and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support day-to-day foundation learning and activities across the school.
The successful candidate will:
● work hard to get to know children and to understand them,
● lead groups of children in the classroom and outdoors,
● develop children’s curiosity, creativity, resilience and self-confidence.
● demonstrate a calm approach and positive attitude to all aspects of school life,
● work effectively as part of a team that includes class teachers, support staff, pupils, parents and governors,
● have high aspirations for themselves, the school and the pupils they work with, and
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
