Millfield School is seeking a Netball Coach on a fixed term contract from September 2026 to support the development and delivery of the Netball Programme for the Autumn and Spring terms.

As a Netball Coach at Millfield, you will get to work in outstanding facilities with both indoor and outdoor courts and have support from full-time athletic development coaches as well as onsite physiotherapists and performance analysis. You will integrate into a fully engaged team of coaches with a common goal of giving each pupil the best opportunity to reach their full potential. Netball at Millfield also has strong links with several Superleague franchises and hosts one of the Pathway centres at Millfield.

We're seeking an accomplished individual ideally holding a UKCC Level 2 qualification in Netball Coaching or currently progressing from a UKCC Level 1 with aspirations for Level 2 accreditation. The ideal candidate will have experience of coaching netball within schools, clubs, the England Netball pathway or a Superleague franchise. A C award umpiring qualification is also desirable.

This is a fixed term contract from 7 September 2026 until 25 March 2027 working 16 hours per week, ideally across Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday during term time. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility with hours is key as you may also be asked to assist on tours and away tournaments.

In return you will receive an hourly rate of £21.42 plus holiday pay, along with a number of staff benefits including freshly prepared lunches for only £10.30 per month, access to the school facilities, and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school’s Employee Assistance Programme.

Application closing date: 22nd February.

**Please note that applications will be considered on receipt, and as a result the vacancy may close early should an appointment be made. As such we would recommend submitting your application as soon as possible**
