Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them thrive both academically and personally?Hays Education is urgently recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our growing team - and we're welcoming applications from candidates currently working with other agencies.
✨ What You'll Be DoingAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating supportive and inclusive learning environments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personalised 1:1 or small‑group support to students with a range of SEN needs.
- Helping students develop confidence, independence, and key life skills.
- Assisting teachers with planning, classroom management, and learning resources.
- Supporting pupils' emotional well-being and positive behaviour.
✔️ What We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant SEN training or qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience in healthcare or support work is also considered.
