We’re hiring Sewing Machinists in Leicester
Stratton Mills is an employment business that provides Manufacturing Personnel across the UK. We have a great opportunity for the right Sewing Machinist. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
• Products: Seat Covers
• Salary: £12.50 - £14.50 (depending on experience)
• Hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week; half-day of Fridays)
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Immediate Start
• Location: LE7, Leicester, Leicestershire
Duties for the Sewing Machinist Role:
• Follow operating instructions for the Walking Foot Sewing Machine, Lockstitch, Twin Needle, Binding Machine, Overlocking.
• Complete requirements for sewing leather car seat covers.
• Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
Ideal Sewing Machinist Candidate:
• Good attention to detail & excellent hand-eye coordination
• Experience in working with targets
• Previous industrial sewing machine experience, within a factory environment
