Landmarc Support Services are seeking a Regional Technical Manager who can bring clarity, confidence, and strong technical leadership to a diverse and complex built estate.

This is a strategic and influential position, where your technical expertise shapes how safety, compliance, and engineering standards are understood, implemented, and assured across the region.

If you lead through knowledge, support others to excel, and take pride in raising standards, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact. Candidates with strong experience in Legionella and/or Asbestos management are particularly encouraged to apply.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide regional leadership for key compliance areas, including Legionella and Asbestos, ensuring robust control measures and clear expectations.
  • Oversee Authorised Person (AP) coverage across technical disciplines, ensuring competence, consistency, and effective governance.
  • Maintain and assure compliance registers (e.g., FGAS), ensuring accuracy and alignment with statutory requirements.
  • Offer expert technical guidance on statutory regulations, industry standards, and best practice.
  • Support project delivery teams by providing technical insight, interpretation of standards, and subject matter expertise.
  • Monitor and assure that competent personnel are in place and that compliance plans are delivered effectively.
  • Ensure site drawings are kept up to date using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.

The Ideal Candidate

You don’t need to be a subject matter expert in every discipline, but you do need a strong technical foundation, sound judgement, and the confidence to guide others.

You will bring:

  • Experience in one or more compliance areas such as fire safety, electrical, DSEAR, fuels, or gas.
  • A strong understanding of building services and statutory regulations (e.g., SFG20, CDM, Fire Safety, Gas Safety).
  • Health & Safety knowledge at IOSH Managing Safely level or above.
  • Confident IT skills, ideally with experience using CAFM and CAD systems.
  • A quality‑driven mindset with experience in assurance or compliance oversight.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Qualifications You Will Hold or Work Towards

(Existing qualifications are highly desirable, but training can be provided.)

  • Responsible Person (Legionella)
  • Responsible Person (Asbestos)

Why This Role Matters

As part of the regional leadership team, you will help set the tone for safety, professionalism, and collaborative working. You will work closely with operational teams, project managers, and technical specialists to ensure they have the clarity, competence, and confidence to deliver it effectively.

This is a high‑impact role for someone who enjoys being a trusted expert, takes pride in doing things the right way, and wants to help shape a culture of excellence across a complex estate. You will also manage a small team who provide essential support to this role, helping embed consistent standards, strengthen governance, and reinforce a culture where people feel supported to deliver their best work.
