Bowel Cancer Screening Audit Administrator (Band 4)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and highly organised Audit Administrator to join the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, primarily based at the Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, with cross-site responsibilities at Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting the delivery of a vital public health service.
In this key administrative role, you will work closely with Specialist Screening Practitioners and Programme Managers to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the screening programme. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality audit and administrative support, coordinating service activities, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.
• To provide efficient and effective audits and patient pathway tracking for Berkshire Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
• To work closely with the Programme Manager, multidisciplinary teams and departments at four different Trusts within the consortium.
• To provide an administrative service to the Bowel Cancer Screening team.
• Cross site working will be required at times.
• To plan and organise own work schedule, demonstrating good time management.
• Use the dedicated bowel cancer screening system and transfer booked appointments to the Cerner and Epic systems.
• Answer queries from colleagues the central Hub in Guildford and patients in a timely and professional manner.
• To ensure that secure systems are in place for the storage of all resources including computerised information.
• To ensure all phone calls are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
• To operate the various IT systems used to fulfil the role/department requirements.
• Co-ordinate the pathway for patients .
• Attend and take minute of meetings.
