Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: South Manchester
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £11.50 – £13.50 per hour (equivalent day rates available depending on session length)

We are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across South Manchester. We are actively recruiting Exam Invigilators to support our partner schools with reliable, consistent exam staffing.
Our Exam Invigilators play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the assessment process across mock and formal exam seasons. The role does not require lesson planning or marking; however, punctuality, professionalism, and clear communication are essential.
The successful Exam Invigilator will:
• Set up exam rooms in line with JCQ and school regulations.
• Supervise candidates during exams, ensuring all rules are followed.
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials securely.
• Complete attendance records, timekeeping and incident reports accurately.
• Identify and report any irregularities to the Exams Officer without delay.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Holds CACHE Level 2/3 or has 6+ months of relevant experience (e.g., education, supervision, customer service, or compliance-focused roles).
• Can confidently manage a room of students aged 11–16+ and uphold exam conditions.
• Has excellent attention to detail and can follow written procedures precisely.
• Is flexible to work across departments and year groups, including mornings and afternoons.
• Is available during peak seasons (e.g., May–June, November–January) and for mock exams.
