An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join an award‑winning civil engineering and building company with a strong national presence. Operating from a network of offices, they specialise in infrastructure and groundworks, predominantly within the residential sector, and have continued to expand since their establishment in 1995.
This is an exciting chance to join their Oxford office as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, working from the Oxford office and supporting a wide range of civil engineering and groundworks projects across the region.
The role – Civil Engineering Trainee Quantity Surveyor
This contractor is seeking a hardworking and driven Trainee Quantity Surveyor who is eager to develop their career in a fast‑paced and agile environment. Working closely with the production team, you will assist with contractual control and cost management across multiple projects.
You will be office‑based with regular site visits and will gain exposure to the full project life cycle, from initial enquiry through to delivery. You will support all commercial aspects of the projects while maintaining the high standards that uphold the company’s strong reputation.
The right person
• A Level qualified as a minimum or sDegree in Quantity Surveying
• Motivated, organised and keen to learn
• Strong communication and numerical skills
• Interest in civil engineering and groundworks
• Ability to work well within a team
