Stirk House Hotel is a family-owned wedding, events and leisure hotel staffed with an amazing, hard-working, professional, supportive and friendly team.
At Stirk House Hotel, we believe every guest deserves more than just a stay—they deserve a memorable experience. Our hotel is built on warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. Whether it’s greeting guests with a smile, ensuring rooms are spotless, or going the extra mile to make someone’s day, we are here to create moments that matter.
The impact you will make
As a Hotel Team Member, you will be at the heart of our guest experience. You will be the friendly face that welcomes our guests, the helping hand that solves problems, and the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps everything running smoothly. Your work will directly shape how our guests remember their time with us—and keep them coming back.
What you will be doing
• Welcome guests warmly, check them in and out efficiently, and answer questions with confidence and care.
• Keep guest rooms and public areas clean, tidy, and inviting—paying attention to the little details that make a big difference.
• Assist in the front of house areas, restaurant or bar serving food and drinks with a smile.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues quickly, ensuring every guest leaves happy.
• Work closely with your teammates to keep operations smooth and standards high.
• Assisting in any other department as and when required, for example Housekeeping or Kitchen.
What you will bring
• A genuine passion for hospitality and making people feel welcome.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• The ability to stay calm and positive under pressure.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous hotel or customer service experience is a bonus—but not essential if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• Can-do attitude to help in other departments as required.
Why you will love it here
• A supportive, close-knit team where your ideas and efforts are valued.
• Opportunities for training, development, and career progression within the hotel group.
• Staff discounts on stays and dining
• Free meals on shift
• Share of monthly gratuities
You will also share in our "Share the Success Scheme" which last year distributed over £26,000 between every member of the team.
And our "Share the Hard Work scheme" where the team share each time we deliver better than target results.
