Have you ever thought about using your experience in agriculture to inspire the next generation?
You don’t need a teaching background to change a young person’s future — just real-world experience, a willingness to share it, and a desire to give something back to the industry you care about.
At Myerscough College, we’re looking for passionate agriculture professionals to join us as a Lecturer and help shape the future of the sector. This role is about more than lessons and qualifications — it’s about mentoring, motivating, and opening doors for learners who are finding their way into the world of agriculture.
You’ll bring the industry to life by sharing your own experiences, leading practical, hands-on learning, and helping students develop the confidence, skills, and mindset they need to succeed. Along the way, you’ll see first-hand the impact you can have — guiding learners as they grow not only as professionals, but as people.
If teaching is new to you, that’s not a barrier. We’ll support you with training and help you work towards a teaching qualification. What matters most is your passion for agriculture, your ability to connect with others, and your commitment to helping young people thrive.
This is a chance to make a lasting difference, stay closely connected to the industry, and grow in a supportive, forward-thinking college environment where your experience truly matters.
If full-time work isn’t right for you, we’d still love to hear from you. Flexible and part-time opportunities are available, allowing you to contribute in a way that fits your life — while still helping to shape the future of agriculture.
Should a successful candidate be found prior to the closing date we have the right to remove this advert.
