Maths Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Mildenhall and the surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality learning experiences across the Maths curriculum.Duties as Maths Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons following provided plans
  • Teach a range of topics including algebra, geometry, number, and statistics
  • Support students in developing analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess and record pupil progress when required
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with varying needs
  • Contribute to departmental planning during longer‑term placements
Ideal Maths Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
  • Adaptable across various school environments
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
