KS1 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Mildenhall and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality learning experiences across Key Stage 1.Duties as KS1 Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum following provided plans
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning needs
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Communicate effectively with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
• Positive, professional, and child-centred approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
