These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Barnet and the surrounding areas, helping them access learning and thrive in an inclusive environment.Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities
• Help implement behaviour management strategies
• Support pupils with personal care needs where required
• Promote an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress and share information with teaching staff
• Contribute to wider school life during longer‑term placements

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a school setting
• Understanding of strategies for supporting children with a variety of needs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability
• Confident working across different age groups and learning environments
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
