Summary
Due to continued and stable growth we are looking for a Laser/Punch Press Operator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements: Setting and operation of our 3kW Fibre laser and/or one of three Amada CNC Turret Punches. Setting punch tools as required. Maintain programs within the machine, eliminating programming errors. Forward and load plan for the daily production requirements.
Communicate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process. Operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner. Maintain high standards and quality of work. Inspect parts for defect as part of our "in-process" inspection. record results, adjust program or notify appropriate person of deviation when needed. Upkeep of a clean and organised working area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the use of Amada lasers and CNC Turret Punches.
Various shift patterns including weekend working.
