The role
Within the role of Village Lead you will provide high quality housing services and lead on all aspects of managing the extra care village, creating a vibrant village environment for all residents and enabling residents to live well with dignity and autonomy.
You will lead and manage all aspects of property management and housing services within a designated village, ensuring safe, well-maintained properties that support residents' independence and comply with the housing consumer standards.
The role also involves overseeing and coordinating third-party care providers to ensure care services align with resident needs and organisational standards.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
Proven experience in housing or property management, ideally within a residential or Extra Care setting.
Experience overseeing third-party service providers, with a focus on performance monitoring and contract management.
Strong understanding of health and safety and other relevant regulations and safeguarding practices as they relate to housing and care services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and third-party providers.
Experience managing teams, with a focus on staff development and performance.
Strong organisational skills, including budget and resource management.
Knowledge of tenancy management processes and housing management systems.
Familiarity with care provision standards and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Experience implementing and embedding organisational changes.
Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions with third-party service providers.
CIH Level 4
