These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different early years and nursery settings. You will be supporting children in Enfield and the surrounding areas, helping them thrive through high‑quality care and learning experiences. Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
- Assist with planning and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all children
- Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with colleagues and parents
- Support children with personal care routines where required
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff to meet individual needs
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
- Relevant nursery or early years qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare)
- Proven experience working in nursery or early years settings
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as Early Years Practitioners.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
