Crynodeb
Specific duties Outpatient clinics- Two clinics per week Available for pre assessment Catheter Lab - Up to six catheter lab sessions per week with attendance at further sessions for specific advanced training. Ward Work - The trainee will undertake the on call weeks as part of the rota, and will supervise the day to day work of the senior house officers/trust doctors in conjunction with the other PCI trainees. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Catheter lab sessions 3 days per week On call -Tier 2 general cardiology and PPCI on-call out of hours ACS weekend lists Ward Work - The trainee will participate in the registrar of the week on-call rota and will supervise the day to day work of the tier 1 trainees. The appointees will be encouraged to cross cover sessions when possible to maximise training opportunities.
