Job Responsibilities
- Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.
- Follow production schedules diligently, working effectively within a small team or crew.
- Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to produce adhesive coated tapes.
- Unload finished products from machines, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Work from written or verbal instructions, applying judgement and selectivity as needed.
- Monitor and control product quality throughout the production process.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Accurately perform basic data entry and utilise computer systems for production tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and report any issues or problems promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence with experience operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working with large-scale industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Reliable with excellent time-keeping and attendance record.
- Flexible attitude to shift patterns, including converting shifts (days and evenings, Monday to Friday).
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Commitment to working safely and maintaining high-quality standards.
