Job Responsibilities

  • Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.
  • Follow production schedules diligently, working effectively within a small team or crew.
  • Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to produce adhesive coated tapes.
  • Unload finished products from machines, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Work from written or verbal instructions, applying judgement and selectivity as needed.
  • Monitor and control product quality throughout the production process.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Accurately perform basic data entry and utilise computer systems for production tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and report any issues or problems promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence with experience operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience working with large-scale industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Reliable with excellent time-keeping and attendance record.
  • Flexible attitude to shift patterns, including converting shifts (days and evenings, Monday to Friday).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
  • Commitment to working safely and maintaining high-quality standards.
