An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a major building services contractor delivering a large, high-profile commercial development in Cambridge.
This is a key project delivery role within a collaborative, integrated project environment, where construction and MEP teams work as one - built on trust, professionalism, and a "right first time" approach.
The Opportunity
You will take responsibility for the mechanical services delivery on a major commercial scheme, managing the project from pre-construction through installation, testing, and commissioning. The project is technically complex and high value, offering excellent exposure and long-term career progression.
You'll be supported by an experienced commercial, engineering, and site team within a business that genuinely believes in teamwork rather than confrontation.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the mechanical services delivery across the project

Manage mechanical subcontractors and specialist suppliers

Oversee installation of HVAC, ventilation, pipework, plantrooms, and associated systems

Manage programme, quality, safety, and technical compliance

Coordinate with electrical, BMS, and construction teams to ensure seamless delivery

Attend client, consultant, and design team meetings

Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems
