The Capital, Estates and Facilities Directorate are seeking to recruit an Assistant Hospital engineer qualified to work on pressure systems, with experience of working in a healthcare engineering environment.
You will be expected to work as part of a team on a wide range of technically challenging projects
You will work within the Environmental Services team.
You will be liaising with the Trust Projects teams and ensuring statutory compliance and a suitable environment for patient care is always available. Success in completing these primary objectives will be judged against specified performance criteria of quality, timeliness cost/resource and health & safety management agreed with the post-holder as part of the annual performance appraisal/review process.
The post has several areas of work covering specialist knowledge and management of the site.
MECHANICAL - HVAC, Water, Steam/pressure systems, BMS (Building Management System)Incineration, emission control and Boiler house duties.
You will be expected to ensure that the Trusts premises and assets are installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the Trust’s policies, DoH guidance (HTM/HBN) and industry best practice.
