About the role

The Quality Assessment and Standards Officer plans, implements and delivers effective and efficient quality enhancement processes and procedures which drive up assessment standards within the College. The post holder works to ensure that The Sheffield College achieves excellent educational outcomes and delivers an outstanding experience for our students and other stakeholders. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring that recently implemented quality strategies lead to sustained improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyse and draw conclusions from statistical data, which contribute to improvement strategies that drive up quality and the sharing of expertise and best practice throughout the College.
• Review and evaluate strategies that have been implemented for improvements
• Meeting students and colleagues and attending quality improvement groups to foster relationships / partnerships and raise the standards of teaching, learning and assessment within the College.
• Work closely with the Managers for Professional Development, Higher Education, Quality & Operations and the Quality Officer to ensure a consistently high standard of quality and service delivery cross College in all aspects of the role.

What we can offer you

As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £32,523 - £36,566 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
