Workshop-Based Forklift Engineer
Location: Neath
South Wales Forktrucks are looking to recruit a Workshop-Based Forklift Engineer to join our busy and well-equipped workshop in Neath.
We welcome applications from candidates experienced in the maintenance and repair of forklift trucks, however we will also consider applicants with a background in:
HGV maintenance
Agricultural machinery
Plant or heavy equipment
A good working knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, engines and transmissions is essential.
The Role
Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a wide range of forklift trucks
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Preparing machines to a high standard
Working as part of an experienced workshop team
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:30am – 5:00pm
Occasional overtime available as required
What We’re Looking For
Mechanical experience in forklifts, HGVs, plant or agricultural equipment
Fault-finding ability
Reliable, practical and safety-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
