Personal Assistant - Morecambe Area- LILS/DB/AW
An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a 22-year-old male at home and in the community. No personal care is required. He is looking for someone who is respectful of his independence and has an understanding and/or experience of supporting people with mental health needs, EDS and ASD.
Our client requires support to extend his social network and engage in activities in his local community. This will include days out, dog walks, shopping and attending appointments. He also needs assistance at home with light domestic duties and personal admin including organising appointments and making telephone calls.
Previous experience is essential and the person MUST be comfortable around a dog. You must also have a positive - can do attitude, a good sense of humour, good organisational and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full clean licence and access to a car is an advantage.
This is a part time position for 10 hours per week with an hourly rate of £14.00, plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
