Summary

SEN Tutors Needed – Newcastle upon Tyne

Remedy Tutors are looking for passionate and experienced SEN Tutors to support students across East London. If you enjoy helping children with additional learning needs reach their full potential, build confidence, and thrive academically, this is the role for you!

Ideal Candidates

* Experience in SEN teaching (e.g., Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, SEMH)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
* Compassionate, patient, and student-focused
* Qualifications in education or SEN-related fields preferred, but experienced tutors are welcome

Your Role

* Plan and deliver personalised lessons in core subjects or life skills
* Build confidence, independence, and engagement
* Support learners with challenging behaviour using positive, structured strategies
* Track progress and provide monthly reports
* Incorporate practical, creative, or outdoor learning activities where appropriate
* Use visual aids or alternative communication strategies as needed
