Summary

Remedy Tutors are looking for passionate, experienced tutors to support students in Barking & Dagenham with Maths, English, and Science. Many of the young people we work with have additional needs or require a more personalised approach, so your impact goes far beyond academics.

About the Role

* Deliver one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s needs
* Support students in homes, community spaces, or online
* Help learners with gaps in education, SEND, SEMH needs, or low confidence
* Track progress and provide clear monthly reports
* Occasionally use creative or practical learning activities to make lessons engaging and memorable

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified tutors or teachers with relevant experience
* Expertise in Core subjects like Maths, English, or Science
* Patient, adaptable, and student-focused
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs is highly valued
* Motivated to see students thrive and succeed
* Teaching qualifications such as QTS or PGCE are a plus, but strong tutoring experience can also be considered.
