We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Surveyor (Gr I)* to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient functioning of our facilities and infrastructure by conducting regular maintenance surveys and assessments. As a Maintenance Surveyor, you will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency, safeguard safety protocols, and uphold the integrity of our assets. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed reports on maintenance activities, expenditures, and the overall condition of facilities. Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
Prepare detailed reports outlining the condition of assets and recommended actions.
Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and external contractors as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during maintenance operations.
Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, tracking expenditures and recommending cost-effective solutions.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong asset lifespan.
Provide technical guidance and support to staff on maintenance-related inquiries and issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a maintenance surveyor or in a similar role within facilities management.
Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and health and safety standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and efficiently prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Per Hour: £45.66
