Job Title: Personal Assistant
Hours per week: 2 hours per week during term time & up to 18 hours per week during school holidays (13 weeks a year), plus any additional hours if and when required. (Days and times will be mutually agreed in advance).
Location: Conwy
Rate of pay: £14.70
About me:
I am an Autistic 5-year-old boy with Down Syndrome. This role is to support me going out in the community, to attend activities I enjoy, such as soft play areas, swimming and going out for walks. I will need support with awareness in respect of stranger danger, road safety and meeting other peers.

Can follow instructions and will establish a professional standard of care, to be always maintained.
Will not use their personal mobile phone at work unless in an emergency.
Is trustworthy, kind, punctual and reliable.
Is patient and supportive with good listening skills and an ability to provide non-judgmental emotional support.
Maintains confidentiality and respects the privacy of the family, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.
Has access to a vehicle and have a full UK driving licence, with evidence of the policy including Class 1 business use.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To take me out and about in the community to do activities that I enjoy.
To encourage and support with social interaction with peers.
To keep me safe when out and about and occasionally within the home.
To support with personal care when required.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
We are not able to offer sponsorship so proof of Right to Work in the UK is essential.
