Rainbows Corner Ltd

Lead with Confidence. Deliver Stability. Transform Lives.

Rainbows Corner Ltd is an established, five-bed children’s home for children with disabilities, providing high-quality, nurturing care within a stable and well-embedded service model. We are now seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to provide strong, values-led leadership and to build on solid foundations as the home continues to evolve and strengthen.

This is an opportunity for a motivated, child-focused professional who can confidently lead an experienced team, maintain high standards, and drive continuous improvement within a regulated environment.

Following a recent leadership reorganisation, the service benefits from clear governance, strengthened oversight, and direct support from an experienced Responsible Individual with a proven track record in Ofsted registration, inspection outcomes, and service improvement. The successful candidate will be fully supported to succeed and will not be operating in isolation.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have full operational accountability for the home and will act as the professional lead for children, staff, families, and partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Compliance

Lead the day-to-day operation of an established five-bed children’s home.
Ensure full compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
Maintain inspection readiness and lead confidently through Ofsted processes, with a desire to achieve good and outstanding outcomes in line with Ofsted inspection SCIFF.
Safeguarding & Quality

Promote and embed robust safeguarding practice (knowledge of safeguarding CYP with disabilities) in line with legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice.
Champion an ethos that enables children to access new experiences, develop independence, grow in confidence, and thrive—supporting them to consistently achieve positive, meaningful outcomes.
Ensure children are cared for within a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where dignity, choice, and inclusion are central to daily practice.
Maintain high standards of care planning, risk management, and review, ensuring practice is child-centred, strengths-based, and outcomes-focused.
Lead continuous quality improvement through reflective practice, audit, and learning from incidents and feedback. Drive high standards of care planning, risk management, and outcomes-focused practice.
People Management

Provide clear leadership, supervision, and development to an established staff team.
Foster a positive, accountable, and reflective culture.
Oversee recruitment, induction, and ongoing workforce development.
Operational & Financial Oversight

Manage rotas, occupancy, budgets, and resources effectively.
Implement and monitor quality assurance systems, audits, and improvement plans.
Work collaboratively with the Responsible Individual and Directors to deliver strategic objectives.
About You

We are seeking a credible and resilient leader with the confidence to lead an established service and the capability to sustain and enhance quality.
