Wage: £7.55 per hour (increasing to £8.00 per hour from April)
Working week: [Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm]

Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant Apprentice to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting, invoicing, and financial administration while working towards a recognised qualification.
You will be supported by experienced colleagues and receive on-the-job training alongside your apprenticeship studies. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in accounting and finance.
What you’ll do at work-Assist with processing purchase and sales invoices-Support payment processing and basic reconciliations-Maintain accurate financial records, including data entry and bookkeeping-Assist with month-end and year-end finance tasks-Handle queries from suppliers and customers in a professional manner-Learn and apply accounting principles in a practical working environment-Use online accounting software such as Sage and Xero-Support the wider finance team with general administrative tasks
Training
You will work towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Accounts / Finance Apprenticeship, which includes off-the-job training with a recognised training provider and Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
