This is a pivotal on‑site role with responsibility for delivering accurate financial reporting, driving strong internal controls and supporting operational decision‑making across a busy, fast‑paced environment.
As Management Accountant, you will oversee key daily, weekly and month‑end processes while leading and developing a small finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you’ll act as a trusted partner across the site, ensuring financial integrity and enabling continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily, weekly and month‑end reporting as the site Management Accountant
Manage general ledger, fixed assets and inventory
Conduct detailed variance analysis and cost centre reporting
Review and approve purchase orders and payroll checks
Support budgeting cycles, central returns and audit activity
Maintain robust internal controls and drive process improvements
Collaborate with operational teams to provide clear financial insight
Coach, support and develop members of the site finance team
About You
To succeed as Management Accountant, you’ll bring experience from a large or complex organisation, ideally within manufacturing.
You will be a qualified or finalist accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), confident in producing high‑quality reporting and comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll have:
Strong management accounting experience
A firm, fair leadership style
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
Strong systems knowledge, preferably SAP, plus advanced Excel capability
