Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join a vibrant nursery setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Room Leader looking to step up or an experienced Deputy looking for a new challenge in a high-quality setting.
As Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of care and education in line with the EYFS.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Support, mentor, and supervise the staff team to ensure high-quality practice.
Oversee the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum.
Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
Step in as Acting Manager in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (NVQ or equivalent).
Previous experience in a senior role (Senior Practitioner, Room Leader, or Deputy).
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
