Summary
We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools across St Helens and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Role Requirements:
- Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
- Experience working with children in any childcare or education setting (e.g. schools, nurseries, youth work, SEN settings, after‑school clubs, sports coaching, etc.)
The Role:
- Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assisting the class teacher with daily activities
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Opportunities to work across different schools and year groups
What you'll need to succeed
- Reliable, Enthusiastic, and Adaptable
- Has a genuine interest in working with children
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one through Hays
- Full right to work in the UK
