We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with additional learning needs. This is a full-time role working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to ensure the pupil receives tailored support that promotes progress, confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with Special Educational Needs
  • Assist with delivering personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents to monitor progress
  • Help with emotional regulation, behaviour support and daily routines as needed
  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous SEN experience (essential)
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships and support pupil engagement
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Experience of Behaviour Management
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Available immediately
