Manager – Domiciliary Care | Cheadle, Stockport | Full Time | Up to £42,000 DOE + Bonus
This is a leadership role where your values, vision, and standards will directly shape the lives of the people you support.
Our client is a values-driven newly established domiciliary care provider delivering exceptional, person-centred care in people’s own homes.
With strong foundations already in place and highly engaged, supportive Directors behind you, this role offers the rare opportunity to take ownership of a service, drive sustainable growth, and build a culture where both clients and staff thrive.
If you’re a Manager who wants autonomy, influence, and the backing to grow in care, this could be your next move.
Why join?
• Salary up to £42,000 DOE, plus a performance-related bonus
• Annual pay reviews and company pension scheme
• Full backing for ongoing professional development and qualifications
• Supportive, hands-on Directors who trust your judgment and value your ideas
• Wellbeing support through a range of employee programmes
• A genuine opportunity to grow a service, not just keep it ticking over
• A role where your leadership style, vision, and values truly matter
Who we’re looking for
You’ll already be operating at Care Manager, Deputy Manager, or Registered Manager level within domiciliary care and be ready for a role with real responsibility and influence.
You’ll bring:
• Strong knowledge of CQC compliance, inspections, and quality frameworks
• Experience growing domiciliary care services, including increasing care hours and working with framework contracts
• A hands-on, people-focused leadership style that motivates and inspires
• Confidence managing performance, standards, and change
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
What you’ll be doing
• Taking full operational ownership of the domiciliary care service
• Leading, recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing care team
• Driving commercial growth, increasing care hours and strengthening Local Authority relationships
• Ensuring full compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and internal quality standards
• Overseeing personalised care planning that promotes independence and dignity
• Managing budgets, resources, and service performance
• Acting as the key point of contact for commissioners, families, and stakeholders
• Embedding a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement
This role is ideal for a strong, values-led leader who wants to make a real impact — on a service, a team, and the people they support every day.
